Welcome!

As you explore this site, you will see the students I have been privileged to teach. Not all become music majors in college, but they develop their God-given abilities and experience the enjoyment of playing beautiful music.  My goal is to teach piano and to inspire students to be passionate about their playing.

I am a member and past-president of the North Carolina Music Association.  My students participate in the NCMA Festivals and scholarship competitions. They perform in informal repertoire classes twice during the school year and in the annual spring recital in May.

I teach theory, technique, classical repertoire, contemporary solos, hymn arrangements, and congregational-style hymn playing.
